i am a cinephile, a bibliophile and (according to my sister) an anglophile. i am also a dork. i am sarcastic; i am addicted to chocolate and coffee. i like shoes because it's the only thing that will always fit me despite my fluctuating weight. i like to clean. i'm a fairly un-complicated person. i love driving aimlessly...just me, an open road and some awesome music. i don't know where i'm going to be in five years because i don't even know where i'm going to be tomorrow. i'm somewhat clumsy. i make weird faces when i am bored and...well, that's about it.

when fandoms collide…did anyone else notice lucas from pretty little liars in this past monday’s episode of how i met your mother. he played ~~yound ted~~ ned.

side note: i have to say my favorite line from that episode was when lily said, “don’t say that whore’s name in front of our baby.” what the hell, the whole episode was awesome.

how i met your mother referenced friday night lights…that just made my day

marshall: listen, i’ve been thinking a lot about what you said yesterday, about how we’re all going to die.
mr. cootes: oh, i’m not going to die. i bought an old mineshaft in colorado. i’ve spent the last six months filling it with canned goods, assault rifles and all five seasons of friday night lights.
marshall: ok, first of all you can skip season two.

how i met your mother 7.05: field trip

i wonder if marshall said to not watch season two because of the whole landry/murder plot line. if that is the reason then i completely agree.

how i met your mother 6.02: cleaning house

the extended “stand by me” scene from monday’s how i met your mother. which was my favorite part in the whole episode. i like how towards the end of this video you can see jason segel trying not to bust out laughing.

my sister and i spent the whole episode annoyed because they wouldn’t give the answer to this joke. after the episode was done i searched yahoo! answers and found out. i had to laugh because it’s such a barney joke.

this show has taken over my life. i have been watching how i met your mother with my sister since thursday of last week. i haven’t thought of seeing anything else, i haven’t even watched last week’s episode of lost, the horror. somehow i managed to finish reading a book between my many viewings of this show. hopefully my sister will come home soon so we can finish watching season 3.

don’t judge me for getting into this show after four years of being on the air, just be glad that i’m finally watching it.
